myPlan Privacy Policy
Our Commitment to Privacy
Your privacy and safety are our top priorities. myPlan is designed to provide support and resources while ensuring that your personal information remains anonymous and secure.
If you use the myPlan app downloaded on iOS, Android, or via web browser:
a. What Information is collected and stored
The myPlan app is designed to be anonymous. We do not collect any personally identifiable information about you. No names, emails, phone numbers, IP addresses, or any other identifying information.
User data collected and stored: “User data” means your activity in the app, such as the settings you choose, answers to questions, assessment results, bookmarks, pages visited, and links clicked on.
Log data collected and stored: “Log data” means information from the device you are using myPlan on. We collect information from your device and browser (e.g. device type, operating system, language setting, web browser type and version), timestamps indicating how many times the app is used and how long it’s used.
b. Why We Collect and Store Your Information
To improve our product: We analyze trends to understand how users are engaging with the app. We periodically examine which pages, content, or resources are most visited and time spent on particular modules which helps us determine how to improve myPlan.
To measure our impact. We periodically use log data such as number of users per platform to report on myPlan’s reach.
To address technical problems.
We use data such as types of devices using myPlan that are experiencing crashes, to ensure that the app is functioning properly for your device.
c. Where your data is stored
All user data is stored and served by a Cloud Firestore database, a Google service certified under major privacy and security standards.
When you first use the app, you are registered anonymously and given an anonymous user ID in the database.
User data is stored off-device on the database.
A user session and your PIN are stored on your device, allowing the PIN to not be stored in our database for more privacy.
All user data is encrypted both at rest and in transit.
d. Who has access to your data
A limited number of myPlan team members.
Contracted developers who set up the app.
3rd party analytics services such as Google Analytics, App Store Connect, and Google Play Console that collect log data. These services may recognize you when you visit other sites via their cookies and other tracking technology. We do not combine the log data generated through these services with any user data. We expect all 3rd parties to comply with their stated privacy and safety standards.
We do not share user data with other 3rd parties and will never sell data.
e. Website links within myPlan
myPlan contains links to external articles, resources, and youtube videos. When you click on one of these links, you are entering another website for which myPlan has no responsibility. We encourage you to read the privacy statements on all such sites as their policies may differ from ours.
f. Accountability
We may update this privacy policy to improve security and transparency. The effective date will be indicated on the updated policy.

In addition to safety and privacy, please review the End User License Agreement that outlines the limits of myPlan’s use and liability limitations for any harm caused to users of the app.
